Following up on the first season—which introduced a polarizing style with well-adapted gags—The Way of the Househusband season 2 now has a date for its global release. The adaptation of Kousuke Oono’s comedy manga is officially set to touch down on Netflix around the world on October 7.
So far we know of two new characters making their debut in The Way of the Househusband season 2. Tomokazu Sugita (Gintoki Sakata in Gintama) voices Tatsu’s apartment neighbor Bob, and Subaru Kimura (Ichiro Yamada in Hypnosis Mic: Division Rap Battle: Rhyme Anima) voices ex-gokudo rapper Gouda, who gets into a rap battle with Tatsu.
The second season of the live-action bonus shorts will also kick off on the same day. Check out a promo for The Way of the Househusband season 2 below.
This world-class househusband was once a feared legendary member of the yakuza! “The Way of the Househusband” is a cozy gangster comedy about “The Immortal Dragon,” a former yakuza member whose incredible feats are still talked about in the underworld, and who spends his daily life as a househusband!
