Kore Yamazaki’s The Ancient Magus’ Bride manga is returning to the world of animation in a new three-part OAD series, and the first was released today in Japan. The launch coincided with the debut of the manga’s 16th volume, and a new visual is here to celebrate its arrival.
The OAD’s theme was also revealed as inocencia’s “auro nowe,” which is now available on the iTunes store and streaming services.
The first OAD episode is titled The Ancient Magus’ Bride: Nishi no Shonen to Seiran no Kishi. Here’s the visual:
The Ancient Magus’ Bride OAD has Studio Kafka taking over as the animation production studio, a task that formerly went to WIT Studio. Kazuaki Terasawa (episodes of Overlord) directs the anime, and Aya Takaha returns on scripts along with new writer Yoko Yonaiyama (Umamusume: Pretty Derby). Hirotaka Kato is once again serving as character designer.
The remaining two episodes of will launch along with volumes 17 and 18 of the manga.
