My Tyrano Anime Film Reveals Music Video Ahead of Release

My Tyrano Anime Film Reveals Music Video Ahead of ReleaseMy Tyrano (also known as Sayonara Tyrano or even Hello Tyrano, depending on who you ask) is an animated co-production that combines the forces of Japan, China and South Korea to adapt a series of dinosaur-themed books by Tatsuya Miyanishi.

Tyrano, which is set to hit Japanese screens this summer (tentatively, like everything these days), is previewed in a new music video that shows off footage from the film and the ending theme by Hanaregumi and Kotringo, called “Rakuen o Futari de” (Into Paradise Together).

Anime fans will recognize Kotringo as the singer/songwriter behind the soundtrack of In This Corner of the World. Speaking of soundtracks, the music for My Tyrano is composed by none other than Ryuichi Sakamoto, who hasn’t done an anime OST since Wings of Honneamise oh so many moons ago.

The impressive staff lineup for the film looks like this:

Director: Kobun Shizuno (Godzilla CG film trilogy)
Music: Ryuichi Sakamoto (Wings of Honneamise)
Animation director: Marisuke Eguchi (Hidamari no Ki)
Screenwriters: Dai Sato (Cowboy Bebop), Kimiko Ueno (Space Dandy), Naohiro Fukushima (Puzzle & Dragons)
