First Death Note Manga Chapter in 12 Years is Almost Here
Death Note artist Takeshi Obata first previewed the new Death Note manga chapter—which was announced back in May of 2019— during his NEVER COMPLETE exhibition, and now it’s almost time for it to launch. Together with original writer Tsugumi Ohba, the duo is back with an 87-page, brand new chapter of Death Note, which is officially set to arrive in the next issue of Jump SQ. magazine.
The issue in question goes on sale in Japan on February 4. As for the chapter, it’s being teased that Ryuk’s Death Note once again falls to Earth after the events of the original series. There will also be a colored center page to go along with it.
