There hasn’t been a ton of additional information since the latest One Piece theatrical project was announced last month. What we know for now is that One Piece Stampede is due out in Japan on August 9, which lines it up nicely to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Toei’s anime adaptation. Now there’s a small update in the design department.
The latest update comes from series creator Eiichiro Oda himself, who whipped up some new character designs of the core crew of Straw Hats for the film. Here’s an early look at what he has in mind for the anime celebration, which marks the 14th One Piece film overall.
