Death Stranding Mac and iOS Details, Requirements Revealed

Death Stranding Mac and iOS Details, Requirements RevealedHideo Kojima’s epic game Death Stranding is coming to Mac and iOS in a Director’s Cut package, and Kojima has now revealed which devices will be able to run the game.

Apparently it’ll run on all Macs and iPads with an M1 chip or higher, as well as the just-released iPhones 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max.

Since launching their own proprietary chips, Apple has been trying to beef up their reputation as a serious gaming platform, and getting one of the biggest games of recent years out there certainly doesn’t hurt.

The game will be out sometime this year.

Death Stranding first came out in November 2019 for PlayStation. Director’s Cut came out on PlayStation 5 and PC in 2021 and 2022, respectively.

Here’s how PlayStation describes Death Stranding: Director’s Cut:

Tomorrow is in your hands. From legendary game creator Hideo Kojima comes a genre-defying experience, now expanded and remastered for the PlayStation®5 console in the definitive Director’s Cut.

In the future, a mysterious event known as the DEATH STRANDING has opened a doorway between the living and the dead, leading to grotesque creatures from the afterlife roaming the fallen world marred by a desolate society.

Take on the trials of Sam Bridges with advanced combat, explore new locations with extra missions and minigames, experience an extended storyline and much more.
