Kyoto Animation’s Violet Evergarden: The Movie has had a tough road. It was originally slated to open on January 10, 2020, but was delayed to April 24. Now, with COVID-19 (coronavirus) concerns in place—including a state of emergency being enacted in Japan—the film has once again been hit with a delay.

There’s currently no new release date, so we’ll have to wait and see where it lands once this all clears up around the world.
