The Tokyo Mew Mew New anime is coming out next year, and an English-subtitled trailer for it has just dropped. In it we can hear the song “bitter sweet darling,” which is sung by the cast unit Smewthie. Speaking of music, the trailer also revealed that none other than Yasuharu Takanashi will be composing the anime’s music. Takanashi has also composed music for Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal, Naruto Shippuden, Fairy Tail, the Precure franchise and more.
Tokyo Mew Mew New is being directed by Takahiro Natori of Cannon Busters and Yuka Yamada of Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid is doing scripts.
