April is here, and that means the spring anime season is kicking off! Mixed into the returning series, original projects, and manga adaptations are a fair share of light novel adaptations. And because we live in the future, we can actually read along with many of them!
While some light novels haven’t made the jump overseas yet, these three have. Grab them now and get the jump on this season’s newest anime!
Unnamed Memory
Finding Ms. Right is hard enough… now imagine any woman you marry is doomed to die! That’s Oscar’s problem in Unnamed Memory, a new fantasy series coming to the spring anime season. He’s seeking out Tinasha, the Witch of the Azure Moon, to break this curse. But when he finally meets her, he has a better idea: maybe Tinasha is strong enough to beat the curse if he marries her instead!
The original Unnamed Memory light novel series ran for six volumes, all of which are available through Yen Press. Get a jump on the series now and follow Oscar and Tinasha’s story to its conclusion! The anime premieres April 9 on Crunchyroll.
Gods’ Games We Play
The spring anime season already has its share of irresponsible deities—after all, KONOSUBA is coming back! But we’ll be getting more in Gods’ Games We Play, as bored deities decide to spice things up by competing with humans. Representatives of the mortal realm known as “apostles” are chosen to challenge the gods, but things are a little different this time around. Leshea, a former god, decides to team up with this era’s best apostle, Fay. No human has ever won the ultimate prize for being the gods at ten games, but these two will try!

Meet the spring anime season’s new elf girl! An Archdemon’s Dilemma: How to Love Your Elf Bride introduces an unlikely romance as the fearsome archdemon Zagan falls in live with the elf girl Nephy. He purchases her at a dark auction, but he’s rather have her as a significant other than as a slave. As the series goes on, their relationship will develop in awkward and adorable ways. Will they ever confess their feelings to each other?
