Sailor Moon Punishes Pain with Bufferin Tie-Up

Nobody likes pain. Now, with Sailor Moon’s help, you can send it packing.

Japanese pain reliever Bufferin has teamed up with Sailor Moon to promote its brand of painkilling magic. The headliner for this tie-up is a series of Bufferin ads featuring the voice of Kotono Mitsuishi as Usagi, aka Sailor Moon herself.

The ad campaign also features a giveaway. 100 lucky participants who beat a Bufferin-themed game on the official website will receive a reversible cushion based on Usagi’s cat Luna. An additional 10 winners will receive a piece of “Super Sailor Moon Roomwear,” which you can see pictured below.

This may be the only Sailor Moon we’ll be seeing for a while, as the new Sailor Moon Eternal films have been pushed to 2021.

In the name of the moon, I will… relieve your pain!
