The Sailor Moon Museum is a traveling exhibit that’s spent limited time stationed in Tokyo, Fukuoka, Osaka, and Nagoya, but soon it will be making a trip overseas!
Its organizers have shared that the exhibit will be leaving Japan, and that it will “power up,” which suggests there will be even more to offer. However, the organizers have stayed mum about one important thing: where exactly it’s going to go!
Since it was just described as “overseas” in general, that opens up the possibility that it will reach more than one nation, maybe even more than one continent. The exhibit shows off decades’ worth of objects related to the Sailor Moon manga, anime, and even live-action iterations. And since the Sailor Moon play Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon The Super Live just wrapped up a North American tour, it seems within the realm of possibility that the exhibit will make its way to the United States.
Is this an exhibit you’d want to check out if you had the opportunity?
Kodansha USA Publishing releases the original iconic manga in English, and gave this description for the first volume:
Sailor Moon Plot
Usagi Tsukino is a normal girl until she meets up with Luna, a talking cat, who tells her that she is Sailor Moon. As Sailor Moon, Usagi must fight evils and enforce justice, in the name of the Moon and the mysterious Moon Princess. She meets other girls destined to be Sailor Senshi (Sailor Scouts), and together, they fight the forces of evil!
