New My Hero Academia OVA Streams Worldwide August 15

New My Hero Academia OVAs Stream Worldwide August 15Mark your calendars, My Hero Academia fans: A brand-new two-episode MHA OVA is set to stream worldwide August 15.

That’s the word from Funimation, which will be streaming the episodes Stateside. Crunchyroll will also be streaming the new episodes in the US and several other territories.

Here’s how Funi describes the OVAs, which are set “during Season 3 of the series, right before the student heroes take their Provisional Hero License Exams”:

In this brand-new adventure, some Class 1-A students are sent to hone their survival skills at a training course. Having yet to receive their provisional licenses, they’re eager to cut loose and have a little fun. They quickly discover that the danger they face is no simulation! It’s going to take their combined training, teamwork, and quick thinking if they’re going to pass this assignment!

The two episodes, which will stream subbed in English, are titled “Make It! Do-or-Die Survival Training” Parts 1 and 2.

Over on the Funimation side of things, fans will be able to participate in a watch-along event, with details to be revealed later.

In Japan, the new Academia OVA set will stream on Hulu from August 16, then several other services starting from August 30.
