Requiem of the Rose King Anime Kicks Off This Fall

Aya Kanno’s Requiem of the Rose King manga previously announced an anime adaptation, and now we have an idea of when to expect it. According to the author’s official Twitter account, the series will make its debut on Japanese TV this fall.

Requiem of the Rose King first kicked off in the pages of Akita Shoten’s Monthly Princess magazine back in October of 2013, and as of this writing has 15 collected volumes on shelves in Japan. VIZ Media publishes the manga in English and describes it below:

Richard’s father, the patriarch of the House of York, is poised to become king of medieval England during the bloody Wars of the Roses. But just as success is imminent, he is abruptly cut down. Plunged into despair, Richard acts out in revenge and must face a powerful and beautiful new enemy.
