A lot of folks out there are pretty excited for Peter Grill and the Philosopher’s Time, the fantasy harem anime helmed by hentai director Tatsumi.
Now a new racy trailer has brought us the good news: the series is set to premiere July 10.
We’ve also learned the show will come in two flavors: a broadcast version and a “great philosopher” version that will only be streamed online. That version will stream six days after the broadcast one — I guess they need that time to animate all the extra… philosophy. Cough cough.
Tatsumi is directing the series at anime studio Wolfsbane. Nora Mouri (Kiitaro’s Yokai Picture Diary) is on scripts, with hentai director Rui Ishike on character designs.

Upon winning a fighting tournament and being crowned the world’s strongest warrior, Peter Grill discovers a downside to his newfound fame. Women of all species, from ogres to elves, are scrambling over each other for his seed to ensure they have the strongest babies possible. Poor Peter just wants to settle down with his lovey dovey fiancée, but he’ll have to outmatch, outwit, and outrun a harem of very determined monster girls to do so!
