New Tenchi Muyo! GXP Series Announced

New Tenchi Muyo! GXP Series Announced20 years after Tenchi Muyo! GXP hit the airwaves, a new series has been announced.

The new show is being described as a continuation of GXP, and is subtitled Paradise Shidō-hen (Paradise Activation Arc).

A piece of key art and teaser for the series have also been revealed.

Tenchi Muyo! is, of course, the long-running sci-fi franchise about a dude named Tenchi and the cute chicks who show up at his house from space. Tenchi Muyo! GXP follows Seina Yamada, a high school student who gets recruited into the Galaxy Police. It aired in Japan from April to September 2002 and about ten years later on Toonami.

Here’s how Crunchyroll describes it:

Seina Yamada’s luck is way worse than bad. He can’t get through a day without causing serious harm to himself and any unfortunate souls nearby, so what in the world could two gorgeous Galaxy Police officers want with him? Just as soon as their spaceship lands, Seina’s blasting off into space with the beauties. It appears his luck could be changing for the better!
