Mom Isabella—who recently won the Best Antagonist award at this year’s Anime Awards by Crunchyroll—is a truly frightening figure. Together with Sister Krone, she runs the Grace Field House orphanage in The Promised Neverland, and you probably know how that turns out. Now both characters are the latest to be cast for the live-action The Promised Neverland movie, which hits theaters in Japan on December 18.
Isabella will be played by Keiko Kitagawa, who previously played Sailor Mars in the live-action Sailor Moon TV show. She’ll rule Grace Field with an iron fist alongside Krone, who will be played by comedian Naomi Watanabe.
