The Kamen Rider series is celebrating its 50th this year, and it’s off to a big start with the first phase of its anniversary project. Futo Detectives—the manga sequel to the 11th Heisei series, Kamen Rider W—is getting a web anime adaptation, with the premiere set for sometime in 2022.
This marks the first anime series for the Kamen Rider franchise. Futo Detectives comes from the TV show’s main script writer Riku Sanjo, with illustrations by Masaki Sato, and it’s been serialized in the pages of Big Comic Spirits since 2017.
