The new Higurashi: When They Cry anime adaptation is about to continue this summer with the arrival of Higurashi: When They Cry – SOTSU. The followup to GOU is set to premiere this July, and Funimation is here to get everyone ready with a new English-subtitled teaser trailer.
In addition to showcasing footage from the continuation, the teaser highlights Ayane’s new opening theme song, “Analogy.” Ayane previously performed two of GOU‘s ending themes, so see what the artist has cooked up for the next series below.
Keiichiro Kawaguchi is directing the anime, with Akio Watanabe on character designs for the Passione production. Funimation will stream Higurashi: When They Cry – SOTSU as it airs this July.
