It won’t be much longer before American fans get to watch Earwig and the Witch! GKIDS just announced that the Studio Ghibli movie will become available on digital platforms March 23. In addition, they’re releasing both a Limited Edition Steelbook and a Blu-ray +DVD combo on April 6.
The Blu-ray +DVD combo will feature exclusive extras not found elsewhere, such as interviews with the director Goro Miyazaki and the Japanese voice actors, and extensive storyboards.
Earwig and the Witch will also be hitting theaters February 3, and it begins streaming with other Studio Ghibli titles on HBO two days later. The movie has been submitted for an Oscar consideration. It stars Academy Award-nominated actor Richard E. Grant, Grammy Award winner Kacey Musgraves and Dan Stevens in the dub.
