The PlayStation 5 console is launching in America on November 12, and some apps will be ready immediately, whereas others will take a little longer. For instance, you can start your anime watching through Crunchyroll or Netflix right away, but Hulu won’t be available until down the line. Funimation, however, has announced that its streaming app will be available on the new PlayStation from the get-go.
“That means on November 12, you’ll be able download and log right into Funimation on your new PS5, and binge all of your anime favorites,” Funimation posted on its website. “We’re super excited to be a part of the launch lineup for apps on the PS5, and can’t wait for you all to jump in and start watching. Did someone say Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba rewatch??”
Are you getting a PlayStation 5? If you are, are you planning to get into some anime watching using any of these apps?
