Fate fans have some big events to look forward to, with not just one, but two screenings on the horizon. First up is a special one night only screening of Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel] I. presage flower & II. lost butterfly Double Feature in U.S. theaters on Saturday, November 14. After that, Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel] III. spring song returns to select U.S. theaters starting November 18!
Produced by the revered studio ufotable, responsible for the celebrated Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] and Fate/Zero series as well as 2019’s smash hit Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba series, the three-part movie follows the “Sakura route” of the Fate/stay night visual novel.
As for the celebrated third part, Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel] III. spring song, here’s the official synopsis:
As Mages (Masters) and Heroic Spirits (Servants) work together in the Holy Grail War, a battle for an omnipotent wish-granting container called the Holy Grail, the war has become horribly twisted.
With the sins she has committed Sakura Matou drowns in the murky darkness. Shirou Emiya, who vowed to protect Sakura, works together with Rin Tohsaka and throws himself into the raging battle to put a stop to the Holy Grail War. While Illyasviel von Einzbern confronts her own fate as one of the few who knows the truth behind the conflict, Zouken Matou uses Sakura to try to fulfill his own desires.
