Bleach may be over, but its creator Tite Kubo is still making manga, including stories occurring in the Bleach universe.
Kubo published the one-shot manga Burn the Witch two summers ago and told the story of witches Noel Niihashi and Nini Spangle, workers at the Reverse London’s Natural Dragon Management Agency. VIZ released it digitally simultaneously when it came out in Japan. Now Kubo has expanded this story into a four-chapter arc. Weekly Shonen Jump will start publishing it in two weeks on August 24. VIZ, not surprisingly, will be taking care of the English release.
While the new work has yet to be seen, it’s already stirring interest in Japan, and an anime based on the story will be released in theaters in autumn.
