Voltron is eyeing the world of live-action adaptations, and according to The Hollywood Reporter, Amazon is working to finalize a production deal. The deal in question would go down with World Events Productions, with Red Notice producer Rawson Marshall Thurber to direct the feature for the platform and provide an original story.
We’ll have to stay tuned for more details about the production, which also has World End Productions head Bob Koplar—who was involved in the original airing that brought Beast King GoLion to the air as Voltron back in 1984—bringing it to life.
Voltron most recently got a resurgence of new life thanks to Netflix’s Voltron Legendary Defender animated series, which kicked off in 2016 and ran for eight seasons.
