About that Voltron Movie… Concept Art Surfaces

I feel like a bad stand-up comic starting out a bit like Jimmy from South Park: “Have you seen this, have you heard about this?” But I must know, have you seen the concept art that emerged for the Voltron movie? I’d love to read some first impressions from fans.

The images were posted to Joblo, and they depict a very (yes, I’m going to say it) Michael Bay take on the aged toy-slangin’ franchise. I have to say, all Bay comparisons aside, that I’m not totally taken by the jagged junk aesthetic.

Then again, I’m also not terribly attached to Voltron, so I can’t say I’m that caught up either way. And who knows, if they ever do end up releasing the film it could be a total blast.
