Following up on some teases, the new project from Studio Orange (BEASTARS, Land of the Lustrous) has officially been unveiled. The team is bringing back Yasuhiro Nightow’s classic Trigun manga as the brand new TRIGUN STAMPEDE anime, which is currently set to premiere sometime in 2023.
More information will be announced at the Anime Expo 2022 panel, which will have series creator Yasuhiro Nightow on hand along with designer Kouji Tajima, Orange producers Kiyotaka Waki and Yoshihiro Watanabe and Toho producer Katsuhiro Takei.
Crunchyroll announced plans to stream the series when it debuts in the following territories: North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, the Philippines, Singapore, India, Pakistan, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal.
The TRIGUN STAMPEDE Anime Expo panel is scheduled for July 2 at 8:00pm PT at the JW Marriott Hotel. Studio Orange will also be hosting a panel on July 3 at 4:15pm PT in 403AB.
Nightow’s original Trigun manga was serialized in Monthly Shonen Champion magazine from 1995 to 1997, followed by Trigun Maximum in Young King OURS from 1997 to 2007. Madhouse produced the first anime adaptation in 1998, and Trigun: Badlands Rumble followed in 2010.
