Hiro Mashima’s Edens Zero Hits Netflix Worldwide This FallEDENS ZERO, Hiro Mashima’s kinda-sorta sci-fi followup to Fairy Tail, just hit Japanese screens, with its first episode airing April 11.

Meanwhile, the official EDENS ZERO Twitter account has revealed that the show, which is bound for Netflix, will hit that service worldwide in fall.

Says the account:

Overseas fans, “EDENS ZERO” will be coming out in Fall 2021 for ex-Japan territories on Netflix! Please wait a little longer!

The series is based on Mashima’s manga, which hit the pages of Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2018. It’s directed by Shinji Ishihara (chief) and Yushi Suzuki, and is written by Mitsutaka Hirota.

Here’s how the ‘flix describes the show:

It is the year X492, an age in which people freely travel through the universe. Rebecca, a video-creating B-Cuber, visits the robotic world of Granbell and meets a young man with special powers: Shiki, who’s lived his entire life among machines. Soon Shiki is exploring the cosmos with Rebecca, encountering new places, people and things, and making friends along the way.
