EDENS ZERO Season 2 Reveals New Key Visual

edens zero season 2

Earlier this month we got a premiere date for EDENS ZERO season 2, which brings the adaptation of Hiro Mashima’s latest manga back to the screen for more sci-fi fun on April 2. Now a new key visual is here to help send us out on our star-faring journey!

EDENS ZERO season 2 will have a pre-screening event in Tokyo on March 11 to show off the first two episodes. Voice cast members Takuma Terashima (Shiki), Rie Kugimiya (Happy), Shiori Izawa (Pino), Shiki Aoki (Homura) and Taiten Kusunoki (Drakken) will be in attendance.

Here’s the full new visual:

The cast and crew return for season 2, minus director Yushi Suzuki, who sadly passed during the first season’s run. Directing season 2 will be Toshinori Watanabe (Tokyo Ghoul: re).

Here’s how Netflix sums up the story:

It is the year X492, an age in which people freely travel through the universe. Rebecca, a video-creating B-Cuber, visits the robotic world of Granbell and meets a young man with special powers: Shiki, who’s lived his entire life among machines. Soon Shiki is exploring the cosmos with Rebecca, encountering new places, people and things, and making friends along the way.
