There’s a Guinness World Record up for grabs for pretty much everything one could imagine, from longest fingernails to a very specific category into which the Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? game slides nicely. Mobile outing Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?: Memoria Freese earned a unique honor of its own, taking home the Guinness World Record for “the largest number of lines performed by a single voice actor in a mobile game.”
As announced at the DanMachi 2019 Fest: Is It Wrong That We Have a 2nd Anniversary Event with DanMachi TV and the DanMemo Game Together? event, the record goes both to the game and lead voice actor Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, who plays Bell Cranell in the game and anime adaptation. A Guinness World Records representative confirmed that Matsuoka recited an astounding 10,175 words in Memoria Freese, which is equal to a full two-cours anime series.
If you want to hear this accomplishment in action, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?: Memoria Freese is currently available on iOS and Android devices.
