Watch the Chihayafuru Manga Author Put Her Skills to Work

The World of Chihayafuru is an original art exhibition that previously ran in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya last spring. Those showings were a success, so its next stop is Kanazu Forest of Creation in Fukui Prefecture between April 27 and June 23. This time around, Kodansha’s official YouTube channel is promoting the exhibition with a video showcasing Chihayafuru manga author Yuki Suetsugu putting her skills to work.

The piece of art in the video is the event’s key visual, and a full 20-minute version of the process documentary was on show at the exhibition’s previous venues. See what Suetsugu cooked up to help celebrate the 10th anniversary of the manga series below.
