Another voice actor has announced a positive COVID-19 test. This time it’s Kana Hanazawa, who confirmed the results of a PCR test after coming down with a sore throat on April 5. While Hanazawa recovers, her HANAZAWA KANA Live 2022 “blossom” performance—which was originally scheduled to be held in Kobe on April 10—has been canceled.
Hanazawa has a ton of voice acting credits to her name, from Mayuri Shiina in STEINS;GATE to Mitsuri Kanroji in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Kosaki Onodera in Nisekoi and Ichika Nakano in The Quintessential Quintuplets, among many others.
The prolific singer and voice actor is currently undergoing treatment under the guidelines of her local health center, and we wish her the best as she recovers.
