Known for roles such as Zenitsu Agatsuma in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and Conny Springer in Attack on Titan, among many others, Hiro Shimono is a well-known voice actor in the anime industry. Now, according to talent agency I’m Enterprise, Shimono has been diagnosed with COVID-19 and is currently undergoing treatment.

As treatment commences, with follow-up observations planned after, his agency is confirming any close contact he recently had with others.

Next up for Shimono is a role as Wanibe in The Dungeon of Black Company anime, which kicks off next Friday and will be simulcast on Funimation.
