According to the official website of the Love Live! series, Love Live! Superstar!! idol and voice actress Nako Misaki has been diagnosed with COVID-19. Misaki took a PCR test after she came down with a fever on Saturday, tested positive, and is now recovering in self-quarantine at home.
The announcement adds that her condition is stable and her fever has since gone down.
Others from Love Live! idol group Liella! took PCR tests after Misaki, and those came out negative. Misaki and fellow Liella! member Nagisa Aoyama were originally set to take part in the Love Live! Series no All-Night Nippon Gold radio program on June 25, but those plans have been delayed along with the cancellation of this week’s installment of Liella!’s weekly radio program.
We wish Nako Misaki a speedy recovery. Shortly after, her character Chisato Arashi will make her debut in the Love Live! Superstar!! anime when it premieres on July 11.
