After being confirmed to be in production last July, we finally have more information on Vinland Saga season 2, including who’s animating it this time. The first season was animated at WIT STUDIO, but this time around the production has been handed over to the ever-busy MAPPA. The staff from the first season will remain the same, however, including previously confirmed director Shuhei Yabuta, character designer Takahiko Abiru and more.
Check out the new trailer and key visual, and look for Vinland Saga season 2 to kick off in January 2023.
