Tokyo Ghoul Creator Ishida Reveals Chojin X Manga

Tokyo Ghoul Creator Reveals Chojin X MangaSui Ishida, the manga-ka behind Tokyo Ghoul, has a new manga on the way called Chojin X (Superhuman X).

On Twitter, Ishida revealed that he had finished the finished the “names,” or storyboards, for the manga. He also revealed a sexy sketch giving us a little tease of what Chojin X will look like. In his tweet, Ishida said that he will “enjoy at his own pace.” A hint that the manga will take a while to emerge?

In any case, we’re definitely looking forward to whatever the mind behind Tokyo Ghoul has to offer.

Tokyo Ghoul is, of course, the horror manga that ran from 2011 to 2014 and inspired anime, live-action films and more.

Here’s how Viz Books describes it:

Ghouls live among us, the same as normal people in every way – except their craving for human flesh. Shy Ken Kaneki is thrilled to go on a date with the beautiful Rize. But it turns out that she’s only interested in his body – eating it, that is. When a morally questionable rescue transforms him into the first half-human half-Ghoul hybrid, Ken is drawn into the dark and violent world of Ghouls, which exists alongside our own.
