The second half of Food Wars! The Third Plate is on its way in April with a pair of new theme songs.
The new opening song, “Symbol,” will be performed by Luck Life, and ending theme song will be performed by Fo’XTails.
Rock band Luck Life have previously performed theme songs for anime like Bungo Stray Dogs (“Namae wo Yobu yo”) and Cheer Boys!! (“Hajime no Ippo”), while Fo’xTails have contributed to series like Dimension W (“Contrast”) and Handa-kun (“The Liberty”).
The first half of Food Wars! The Third Plate ran from October to December 2017 and featured music by ZAQ and nano.RIPE.

Shokugeki no Soma centers on Yukihira Soma, a middle school student who is determined to surpass his father’s culinary skills. One day, his father decides to close down their family restaurant and hone his skills in Europe. Before leaving he enrolls Soma in an elite culinary school that is extremely difficult to enter with a graduation rate of only 10 percent. Will Soma be able to improve his skills, or will the kitchen prove to be too hot?
