The Yakuza’s Guide to Babysitting Hits Screens July 7

The Yakuza's Guide to Babysitting Hits Screens July 7We’ve seen yakuza members as awesome househusbands, and now it’s their turn to babysit. The Yakuza’s Guide to Babysitting, the manga from Tsukiya, is coming to anime form. And now we know when it’s set to start airing: July 7.

The show stars Yoshimasa Hosoya, Misaki Watada, Kaito Ishikawa and others. It’s directed by Itsuro Kawasaki, who helmed Tsukiuita the Animation, and it’s animated at feel and GAINA.

Here’s how Kaiten Books describes the original manga:

Kirishima Tooru is as vicious a yakuza as they come, to the point where he’s earned the nickname “the Demon of Sakuragi.” To get him under control, he’s suddenly given a new mission straight from the boss—to babysit his daughter!

Speaking of said manga, here’s our review of the first volume, which our Danica Davidson called “a charming, cute, fun comedy.” Can’t wait to see it in anime form.
