The Promised Neverland season 2 was originally planned for an October 2020 debut in Japan, but fans will have to wait for more of the adaptation of Kaiu Shirai and Posuka Demizu’s dark fantasy manga. The official website came through with an update, announcing plans to delay the second season to January 2021 due to COVID-19 concerns and related setbacks.
Similarly, the rebroadcast of the first season—which aired from January to March of 2019—has been postponed. It was set to air in Japan this July, but it’s now taking the season 2 slot in October.
