Another character design from series creator Eiichiro Oda has rolled out ahead of ONE PIECE FILM RED, which arrives as the next theatrical adventure in Japan on August 6. This one depicts Sunny-kun, which is an adorable transformation of the Straw Hats’ iconic Thousand Sunny ship.
If the design is anything to go by, it looks like Sunny-kun can speak! See how the character looks in Oda’s design below.
ONE PIECE FILM RED is set to open in Japan on August 6, with Goro Taniguchi (Code Geass) directing One Piece for the first time since helming 1998’s One Piece: Defeat Him! The Pirate Ganzack! short way back in 1998, a year before the TV anime premiered.
