The shins are crossing. This coming weekend, screenings of Hideaki Anno’s Shin Kamen Rider will feature “Evangelion 3.0: (-46h),” the recent 10-minute short included on the home video release of Evangelion 3.0+1.11.
To celebrate (read: get more butts in seats), the folks behind all these Shin productions are releasing five collectable cards featuring the cast of Evangelion cosplaying as the cast of Kamen Rider.
Shinji is Takeshi Hongo (aka Kamen Rider 1), Rei is Ruriko Midorikawa, Kaworu is Ichimonji (aka Kamen Rider 2), Asuka is Hiromi (aka Hachi Augment-01), and Mari is Ichiro Midorikawa, (aka Chou Augment-01).
The cards will be given out randomly to those with tickets to the screenings.
Meanwhile, no cards, but Shin Kamen Rider is set for US release starting May 31.

Misato and her anti-NERV group Wille arrive at Paris, a city now red from core-ization. Crew from the flagship Wunder land on a containment tower. They only have 720 seconds to restore the city. When a horde of NERV Evas appear, Mari’s improved Eva Unit 8 must intercept. Meanwhile, Shinji, Asuka, and Rei (Provisional Name) wander about Japan.
