SHIKIZAKURA Anime Leaps into Action with New Trailer Sampling OP

The SHIKIZAKURA TV anime is bringing together creators from throughout Japan’s Tokai region, including Shinya Sugai (CGI director for The Ancient Magus’ Bride) as general director, Go Kurosaki (CG director for Love Live! Sunshine!!) as director, and Naruki Nakagawa (Scar-red Rider XechS) as series composition writer. We’ll be able to see what the Tokai region can make when the SUBLIMATION production premieres in 2021, but for now you can get a taste in a new trailer.

This one features a sample of anison singer Asaka’s theme song, “BELIEVE MYSELF,” the full version of which will premiere at August’s World Cosplay Summit 2020 ONLINE event.
