The second Mobile Suit Gundam 00 stage play was previously planned for July 17-26, 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic forced the folks behind it to postpone performances. Now the official website has updated the plans, lining up the second show for February 4-14, 2022 at the New National Theatre in Tokyo.
The first Gundam 00 stage play was completely sold out in 2019—just one of the many projects of the Gundam 40th anniversary celebration—and this one has a bunch of the main cast members returning, including Shohei Hashimoto as Setsuna F. Seiei, Yu Imari as Lockon Stratos, and Seiichiro Nagata as Tieria Erde. Ryotaro Kosaka will take over the role of Allelujah Haptism in place of Taiyo Ayukuwa.
