If you want to pilot an Eva, you need to get used to breathing in the orange liquid known as LCL, and now you can eat that very liquid in frozen form with new Evangelion LCL ice cream from Lotte. The confectioner has introduced the slushy treat as the latest in its Coolish line, with convenience stores in Japan stocking the items this summer in handy drinkable ice pouches.
If you’re wondering what Evangelion LCL tastes like, according to Lotte it’s a “sports drink-flavored” treat, so it should keep you cool and refreshed during even the hottest of days. As for whether or not it will help you sync with your EVA unit and take down Angels, the jury is still out on that one.
The limited time Evangelion LCL ice cream packets will be available for ¥151 (US$1.40) each starting on July 20. Check out the packages below.
