Sailor Moon Prism on Ice Show Delayed to June 2022

Another delay has been announced for the Sailor Moon Prism on Ice show, which features pro figure skater Evgenia Medvedeva in the lead as Usagi Tsukino/Sailor Moon. Originally set for a June 2020 opening, COVID-19 precautions caused it to be pushed to June 2021, and now the latest delay has it shifting another year to run from June 3 to June 5, 2022.

The staff decided to prioritize the safety of themselves and the audience and performers rather than attempting to accommodate travel restrictions and quarantine periods. Hopefully they’ll be able to pull off the performances safely in a year’s time.
