Near the end of July we were treated to a new trailer for Restaurant to Another World 2, which is on the way to the airwaves this October. Now that timing has been narrowed down to the specific premiere date of October 1 on TV Tokyo, followed by TV Osaka on October 2 and AT-X on October 4. There’s also a new trailer and key visual to go along with it.
Here’s the new promo, which shows off the opening theme, Kiyono Yasuno’s “Onnaji Kimochi” (“The Same Feeling”), and Nao Toyama’s ending theme, “Samenai Mahou” (“Magic That Doesn’t Cool Down”).

Restaurant to Another World 2 continues the adaptation of the fantasy light novels written by Junpei Inuzuka and illustrated by Katsumi Enami. Crunchyroll streamed the first season and plans to do the same for the second, and describes it like so:
There is a certain restaurant in the first basement level of a multi-tenant building in one corner of a shopping street near the office district. The historical restaurant, marked by a sign with a picture of a cat, is called “Western Cuisine Nekoya.” This restaurant looks completely normal through the week, but on Saturdays, it opens in secret exclusively to some very unique guests. During these hours, doors in various areas of a parallel world open to allow customers of many different races and cultures into the restaurant.
