Kazuma Kamachi’s A Certain series of light novels—including A Certain Magical Index and A Certain Scientific Railgun—has inspired plenty of additional media, the latest of which is the A Certain Magical Index Imaginary Fest smartphone game. To promote the upcoming Japanese release, the official website recently kicked off a character popularity poll, and the first interim results have been revealed.
Votes started coming in on April 25 to go along with the launch of pre-registrations, and the character who ends up with the most votes once the campaign ends will be implemented as a special character in the game when it launches. The second interim results will be revealed on May 25, but for now let’s take a look at who came out on top for the first.
