Certainly exciting news for A Certain Magical Index stans. The character Misaki Shokuho, who features most prominently in A Certain Scientific Railgun, has picked up her own spinoff manga.
The manga, which launched this week, is called A Certain Scientific Mental Out. It’s named after Shokuho’s power, Mental Out, which allows her to control minds.
The manga is by Yasuhito Nogi, who also created the A Certain Scientific Railgun: Astral Buddy manga. It’s being published on the Comic Newtype website.
That manga is being released by Seven Seas, who describe it like this:
Hokaze Junko, one of the top “handmaidens” of Shokuhou Misaki, has always blended into the background of Tokiwadai–an easy feat when you go to an all-girls’ school full of powerful psychics. But when a ghostly figure starts stalking her, Junko is suddenly the center of attention! As Junko investigates her stalker, she starts to learn new things about her classmates…and herself!
