Back in December, when the new Pokémon anime was first revealed, it was announced that Ash and Pikachu would be ending their long journey together at last, and Ash also managed to snag the goal he’s been aiming for since the very beginning. That time has come and gone and the new series is currently airing in Japan, but over in the west we’re just now getting treated to Ash’s final set of episodes.
According to the latest update from the official channels, the final season of Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series continues on Netflix with Part 3 on June 23, 2023. This collection of 15 episodes will culminate in the long-awaited climactic battle of the Masters Eight Tournament, which has Ash taking on Galar Champion Leon for the title of World Champion.

Once this series ends, fans in the west can look forward to the special Aim to Be a Pokémon Master episodes at some point.
