The first OVA for Natsume Yujin-chou Roku, AKA the sixth season of the Natsume’s Book of Friends anime adaptation, is set to be included with upcoming Japanese home video releases. Now Aniplex is here with a promo video for “Suzunaru no Kirikabu” (“The Ringing Bell’s Stump”), previewing Natsume and Nyanko-sensei’s shopping trip gone awry.
The major turning point in their trip occurs when they find an old man collapsed on the sidewalk. After they help him get back home, they learn he’s actually a youkai who lives in a gingko tree, and he has a certain promise to keep before his return to the Earth.

The Natsume’s Book of Friends Roku OVA makes its way to shops as part of the Blu-ray/DVD bundle in Japan on September 27.
