Last month we learned about the theme song details for the next film from director Mari Okada, Alice and Therese’s Illusory Factory. Now we have a big cast update, with nine additional voice actors revealed for the upcoming film that’s due out in Japan on September 15.
New cast members include:
- Taku Yashiro (Tsubasa Kashiwagi in THE IDOLM@STER Side M) as Daisuke Sasakura
- Tasuku Hatanaka (Denki Kaminari in My Hero Academia) as Atsushi Nitta
- Daiki Kobayashi (Saki Mizushima in THE IDOLM@STER Side M) as Yasunari Senba
- Ayaka Saito (Mitsukuni Haninozuka in Ouran High School Host Club) as Yuko Sonobe
- Maki Kawase (Hana Ichijo in Aoashi) as Hina Hara
- Yukiyo Fujii (Sailor Saturn in Sailor Moon Crystal) as Reina Yasumi
- Setsuji Sato (Hank in YUREI DECO) as Mamoru Sagami
- Koji Seto (Kiva in Kamen Rider Kiva) as Akimune Kikuiri
- Kento Hayashi (Aigami/Diva in Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions) as Tokimune Kikuiri
Alice and Therese’s Illusory Factory is being animated at MAPPA and features the previously announced cast:
- Junya Enoki as Masamune Kikuiri
- Reina Ueda as Atsumi Sagami
- Misaki Kuno as Itsuki
The staff includes:
- Assistant director: Tadashi Hiramatsu
- Character designer/chief animation director: Yuriko Ishii
- Art director: Kazuki Higashiji
- Music: Masaru Yokoyama
In addition to directing and writing Alice and Therese’s Illusory Factory, Okada is also writing a novel of the same story. The film, which takes place in a town in which time has stopped, centers around a middle school student named Masamune, whose encounter with two mysterious girls upsets the balance of the world.
