KanColle season 2—known as KanColle: Itsuka Ano Umi de (KanColle: Someday in That Sea)—started airing in Japan on November 3, but fans are going to have to wait a little longer for the next episode. According to an announcement on the official website, the fourth episode has been delayed, with “production circumstances” pushing it to December 15.
In its place, the first three episodes will be rebroadcast starting this weekend. Episodes 2 and 3 will air respectively on December 1 and December 8.
As previously reported, the second season of KanColle will feature eight episodes, which was planned so the quality of the production could be higher and a more compact story could be told. Kazuya Miura (Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!) is directing the new season, with Kensuke Tanaka handling scripts for the ENGI production.
